Over two decades of expertise to guide Novotel Goa hotels

Amit Sangwan has assumed the role of Cluster General Manager at Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge in operational excellence, strategic management, and elevating guest experiences. Sangwan has worked across luxury, upper-upscale, and business hotel segments, consistently driving performance improvements and fostering people-centric leadership.
Before joining the Goa properties, Sangwan was the General Manager at Novotel Ahmedabad since May 2023, where he achieved notable success in commercial performance, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Known for his hands-on approach and innovative strategies, he is set to lead both Goa hotels in enhancing service quality, strengthening brand positioning, and creating memorable experiences for all guests.
Widely recognised in the industry, Sangwan has received multiple accolades, including Top 5 General Managers of Business Hotels at the Hospitality Horizon Awards 2024, Gujarat’s Best General Manager by the CMO Asia Awards, and Most Admired GM of the Year at the International Hospitality & Travel Awards. His career spans leadership roles with major hotel brands, managing large-scale operations, complex food and beverage portfolios, pre-opening assignments, and destination resorts.
In his new role, Sangwan will oversee the strategic direction, operational performance, and commercial growth of both properties. He aims to strengthen brand positioning, enhance guest experiences, and drive sustainable growth across leisure, MICE, and food and beverage offerings.
