Hingoli District Council’s (Jilha Parishad) Chief Executive Officer, Vivek Gaikwad, has been awarded a state-level honour by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for exemplary administrative performance under the government’s flagship ‘150-Day Sevakarmi Programme’. The award recognises district councils demonstrating efficiency, transparency, and innovation in governance.

During the campaign, Hingoli District Council (Jilha Parishad) prioritized timely completion of pending tasks, updating employee seniority lists and promotion procedures, filling vacant posts, and certifying key records. Compassion-based appointments were executed on schedule, providing immediate relief to affected families.

All officials and employees were registered on the IGOT Karmayogi portal and encouraged to complete skill-development courses. Each staff member successfully completed at least five courses, enhancing efficiency and service quality. Service records were digitized, streamlining future administrative processes.

Commenting on the award, Vivek Gaikwad said, “This recognition reflects the collective effort of the entire District Council team.” He added that departmental coordination, teamwork, and timely execution played a key role in the achievement.

The state-level honour is expected to set Hingoli District Council as a model of administrative excellence, inspiring other districts to adopt similar measures in transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric governance. Officials hope this recognition will guide future initiatives and reinforce Hingoli’s commitment to effective and accountable administration.
