Maharashtra Governor Felicitates Navy Chief Admiral Krishna Swaminathan

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma felicitated Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, Chief of the Naval Staff, during a courtesy meeting at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai.

Admiral Krishna Swaminathan called on the Governor, who congratulated him on his appointment as the 27th Chief of the Naval Staff. The Governor extended his best wishes for a successful tenure and presented the Navy Chief with a commemorative memento in recognition of his appointment.

The courtesy meeting reflected the cordial interaction between the state’s constitutional head and the Chief of the Naval Staff following Admiral Swaminathan’s elevation to the Indian Navy’s top post.

The Governor wished Admiral Swaminathan success in leading the Indian Navy and appreciated the force’s contribution to safeguarding the country’s maritime interests and national security.
