67th National Film Awards announced; here’s the full list of winners

The 67th National Film Awards were announced on Monday evening in New Delhi. The ceremony bestowed honours on films and artists for the year 2019.

The event is organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, which comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The awards were initially set to be held in May last year but were delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Director Priyadarshan’s Malayalam war epic Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea, starring Mohanlal, won Best Feature Film. The best acting honours went to Manoj Bajpayee for Bhonsle, Dhanush for Tamil film Asuran, and Kangana Ranaut for two of her films Panga and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
