Maha Governor B S Koshiyari felicitating social worker Aziz Makki

Feted for completion of 50 years of social service
 
Noted social worker Aziz Makki, who is credited with developing the P T Mane
Garden of Nagpada into a multi-utility complex for the poor was felicitated at the
hands of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in Mumbai on Thursday, 30 th  January,
2020.

The felicitation function was organized by the Anjuman I Islam educational
institution at its Karimi Library complex in Mumbai to commemorate the
completion of 50 years of social service by Aziz Makki.

Complimenting Aziz Makki for rendering services such as opening Computer
Classes for slum children, opening a Dialysis Centre for the poor, the Governor
said service to the poor people gives one inner satisfaction, which is a reward in
itself.  Stating that women in India had suffered a lot of hardships, he appealed
to the people to work for women empowerment.

MP Hussain Dalwai, MLA Raees Shaikh, President of Anjuman I Islam Dr Zahir
Kazi, Maulana Syed Athar Dehalvi were prominent among those present.
