Netflix India on Tuesday unveiled the trailer of Sanya Malhotra’s forthcoming film Pagglait. It is set to release on 26th March, 2021.
Pagglait revolves around a young woman Sandhya who has recently lost her husband. Instead of listening to society’s century-old rules about how a widow should live her life after losing her husband, Sandhya decides to go on a journey of finding her true identity.
Malhotra’s performance is the backbone of the trailer. She looks thoroughly convincing and has some really quirky lines to lighten up the mood of the situation her character finds herself in. As everyone around her expects her to mourn, all she can think of is water-balls and a chilled cola.
Also starring Sayani Gupta, Shruti Sharma, Raghubir Yadav, Ashutosh Rana, and Nakul Roshan Sehdev, Pagglait has been produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment.
The film releases on March 26, 2021.
