Dr. Anup Deo has been running a dental clinic at Kopri in Thane for 36 years. He is a well-known figure in Thane and has held the post of President of the Indian Dental Association’s Thane branch in 2003-04.
“We are all part of cosmic energy. One can study the positive and negative energy around our body, which is invisible to us. Our ancient scholars were aware of this. What we see with our eyes is our physical or gross body. There is a subtle body that is invisible to our eyes,” he says.
This subtle body has seven major chakras, 72,000 energy-carrying nadis. There is also an energy ring around this subtle body. The energy body is also called the human energy field (HEF) or biofield.
Dr. Deo turned to the subject by accident. Dr Deo was a sportsman representing Ruia College in Badminton. However, after starting a Dental Clinic for 3 years he was a patient of High Blood pressure. He went through all the possible Heart scans but they were normal. So, it was labelled as a Hereditary issue. He took medicines for 20 years. But he got rid of the medicines when he started Crown Chakra Meditation under the guidance of a spiritual person. To study Chakra and meridians more, he founded the Institute of Biofield Evaluation and Research Center in Thane in 2013, and started research on the HEF or biofield. For 10 years, he has been researching Vedic Lifesciences or Vedic human anatomy.
So far, more than 2,100 people have been scanned as part of this study, and on the basis of this research, Dr. Deo in 2018 registered a patent on accurate diagnosis of health problems, accurate integrated treatment plan, evidence of post success by looking at the invisible biofield, as well as the seven main chakras and 14 main energy-carrying meridians of the subtle body through a biofield scan.
He developed a system and method (protocol) with the help of camera and software, to detect wellbeing of a body by biofield scan, a predictive Diagnostic tool based on Vedic Life Science for accurate diagnosis, perfect integrated treatment planning and post treatment success for chronic & incurable Health issues.
The patent has been granted under the Intellectual Property Act of the Government of India, on March 15, 2024, for this innovation which is the first of its kind in the world.
Dr. Deo himself conducts a two-day basic workshop on this subject and a two-month advanced training course. He has written a book in Marathi and Hindi that reveals the invisible biofield science in visible form.
So far, he has presented four research papers on Chhaya-Prabha (a concept from Ayurveda) and Subtle Body at international Ayurvedic conferences. Dr. Deo has delivered more than 200 lectures on the subject across India. Also, 25 two-day workshops have been conducted with the aim of introducing people to this subject.
There are three students currently doing PhDs in this subject are seeking guidance from him namely Mrs Supriya Balekundri from Rani Channamma University – Belagavi, topic is Interpretation of Human Biofield Scan Images for Physical, Mental, Emotional Health issues using Image Processing Techniques. Second Phd students include Prof. Anagha Durugkar, who works as Assistant Professor of Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Bandra, Mumbai and she is doing research on Disease detection using Bio Field (Aura) Scan. Third person is Pradip Chitnis from A.B.G.M. V. Mandal, Navi Mumbai. He researching on topic namely Effect of Music Therapy on Physical and Subtle Body through Biofield Scan Technology
Dr. Anup Deo is being congratulated by all the patients and people from different walks of life for getting the patent for his 10 years of research.
