IHG Hotels and Resorts has inked a deal with GPKP to develop the Holiday Inn Prayagraj, marking a significant milestone in the iconic brand’s journey to bring its signature hospitality to the spiritual heartland of India. Slated to open its doors in 2025, it will cater to the ever-growing stream of pilgrims, tourists, and business travellers drawn to the ancient city of Prayagraj, renowned for its sacred confluence of three holy rivers – the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati.
Holiday Inn Prayagraj, Nestled in the heart of Uttar Pradesh’s capital will offer a sanctuary of comfort and convenience for those seeking a respite from their spiritual sojourns or corporate endeavours. The hotel’s strategic location promises easy access to the city’s most revered sites, including the hallowed grounds of the Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering that draws millions of devotees every few years.
With 95 well-appointed rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a meeting room, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, it is poised to become a preferred destination for travellers seeking an authentic and immersive experience in this culturally rich and vibrant city.
