This Baisakhi, Saffron at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu brings the vibrant spirit of Punjab to the city with “Sucha Da Dhaba – Flavours of Amritsar,” a special culinary pop-up running from April 10 to 19, 2026. Known for its focus on traditional Indian cooking techniques and regional showcases, Saffron continues its legacy of presenting authentic culinary experiences that celebrate India’s diverse food heritage.

Inspired by the bustling food culture of Amritsar, the pop-up recreates the warmth and charm of iconic Punjabi dhabas, where food is deeply rooted in tradition, memory, and togetherness. The experience reflects the essence of hearty meals, rich spices, and recipes passed down through generations, offering diners a taste of authentic Punjabi kitchens in a festive setting.

The pop-up is led by guest chef VP Singh, who carries forward the legacy of Kulcha Land, a fourth-generation Amritsar-based eatery renowned for its iconic kulchas and traditional flavours. Drawing from his personal memories, Chef Singh presents a menu that is simple, soulful, and deeply connected to his roots.

Guests can explore an à la carte menu featuring Amritsari kulchas, tandoor specialties, and classic Punjabi gravies. Highlights include Paneer Kastoori Methi Tikka, Amritsari Fish Tikka, Kukkad de Kabab, and Tandoori Boti Kebabs. The main course offers dishes such as Amritsari Butter Chicken, Dhaba Murgh, Mutton Patiala Hari Mirch, along with vegetarian favourites like Baingan Bhartha, Punjabi Kadhi Pakora, and Pindi Di Dal. Desserts such as Gur Da Halwa and Amritsari Kheer round off the experience.

Chef VP Singh shared that Amritsar is not just a city but a feeling, where food, tradition, and celebration come together, adding that he is delighted to bring these authentic flavours to Mumbai.

The pop-up will be hosted at Saffron, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, with dinner service from Monday to Friday and both lunch and dinner on weekends. For reservations, guests can call 022 6693 3344 or 90046 16506.
