Food lovers in the city can savour the authentic flavours of Goa at the ongoing Goan Food Festival – Flavours of Goa being hosted at Mado Mado Restaurant, Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai International Airport. The festival, which commenced on June 19, will continue until June 28, offering guests a unique opportunity to explore the rich culinary traditions and coastal culture of Goa.
Curated by Chef Henzil Saldanha, the festival presents a carefully crafted menu featuring traditional Goan recipes, signature seafood preparations and regional delicacies that reflect the state’s diverse gastronomic heritage. The dishes are prepared using authentic ingredients and time-honoured cooking techniques, bringing the true essence of Goan cuisine to diners in Mumbai.
Apart from the food, the festival also offers an immersive cultural experience. Traditional Goan music performed live by the Goan Serenaders adds to the festive atmosphere, creating a vibrant and engaging dining environment for guests. The combination of authentic cuisine and live entertainment aims to recreate the warmth and charm of Goa’s coastal celebrations.
The festival is being held daily from 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm at Mado Mado Restaurant and is priced at Rs 2,499 plus taxes per person. The event is expected to attract food enthusiasts keen to experience one of India’s most celebrated regional cuisines while enjoying the vibrant spirit and hospitality of Goa.
