The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) India, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of South Korea, has announced the Korea Travel Fiesta 2024, taking place on October 19 and 20, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at DLF Avenue, Saket, New Delhi. This annual festival, now in its seventh year, celebrates the K-Wave and offers a vibrant platform for cultural exchange.
On October 18, a Korea Tourism Roadshow will provide networking opportunities for business partners at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka. The event will feature a Travel Mart with representatives from K-Beauty brands, destination management companies, and airlines like Korean Air and Air India.
Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director for India and SAARC at KTO, expressed excitement about the festival, highlighting the strong connection between India and Korea, with over 119,000 Indian visitors welcomed by August 2024. The event aims to inspire Indian travelers to explore South Korea’s rich culture and diverse attractions.
The fiesta will kick off with an inaugural ceremony featuring celebrities such as Anand Kumar and Anushka Sen. Attendees can enjoy K-Pop performances, beauty sessions by top Korean brands, themed photo booths, cultural activities, and a variety of delicious Korean food. A stamp rally will also encourage participants to explore different experiences and win K-merchandise.
The Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 promises to deepen the appreciation for Korean culture and stimulate interest in travel to South Korea among Indian visitors.
