The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) India hosted the Korea MICE Roadshow 2025 in Mumbai on June 5, aiming to boost Korea’s positioning as a prime destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel. The event attracted strong participation from the Indian travel trade, corporates, and media.
The roadshow spotlighted Korea’s tailored offerings for MICE travellers, including its incentive support program, simplified MICE group visa process, and state-of-the-art convention infrastructure. Among the key benefits is the Korea MICE Group Visa, which features visa fee waivers, express processing, and streamlined documentation for eligible Indian groups.
KTO also presented its MICE Support Program, which includes destination experience fees, souvenirs, and curated services like gala dinners, K-pop booths, K-food trucks, and on-trip video highlights. Additional support such as chartered transport, cultural performances, welcome receptions, and team-building activities are offered based on group size and needs.

Myong Kil Yun, RD, KTO India and Hina Khan, Hon. Ambassador of Korea Tourism.
Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director for India and SAARC Countries, KTO, said, “It was a pleasure to see such strong participation in Mumbai, with over 150 attendees including MICE travel agents, corporates, and media. This level of interest reflects the growing curiosity about Korea as a compelling new destination for MICE travel. With our dedicated support programs, we are confident Korea will become a preferred choice for the Indian market.”
A major highlight of the evening was the felicitation of actress Hina Khan as the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism. She was officially appointed by KTO on May 9, 2025, at a ceremony held at the KTO Seoul Center (HiKr Ground). Hina recently returned from a KTO-hosted FAM trip covering Seoul, Gangwon-do, and Incheon.
Hina Khan, speaking at the event beamingly, said, “I am truly grateful to be named the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism. My recent trip to Korea was eye-opening, from walking through famous K-drama locations to enjoying thoughtfully prepared vegetarian meals. Korea feels both modern and rooted, and I believe Indian travellers will connect deeply with what it offers. It’s a destination that stays with you.”
