For those who love Parsi delicacies, there is reason to cheer. This August, Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai Andheri West is bringing the flavours of Parsi home-style cuisine to its all-day dining restaurant, Pana, with ‘Jamva Chalo Ji’, a curated culinary experience running from August 14 to 23.

‘Jamva Chalo Ji’ loosely translates to ‘Come, Let’s Eat’ and is traditionally used to invite guests to the table at Parsi gatherings. The festival features Chef Daugdo Ragina, a specialist in Parsi home-style cuisine, who brings traditional recipes and cooking techniques passed down through generations of Parsi households. Guests can savour classics such as Dhansak, with its distinctive blend of lentils and spices, and Patra Ni Machhi, traditionally steamed in a banana leaf, along with other preparations reflecting the characteristic sweet-and-sour balance of Parsi cuisine.

The ten-day festival will be available during dinner from August 14 to 23, with special Parsi brunches on August 16 and 23. The weekend brunch will offer guests a more relaxed opportunity to explore the cuisine and its traditional flavours. The experience is open to both walk-ins and reservations at Pana, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant.
