The city of Mumbai roared with excitement as the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai, in collaboration with Amazing Thailand, hosted an immersive movie night titled “Amazing Thailand Jurassic Escape” on Saturday, 26th July, 2025 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. The theatre was house full, and the atmosphere was vibrant and engaging. Guests were treated to refreshments, including snacks and cold drinks, enhancing the cinematic experience.
Held at PVR BKC Theater, Jio World Plaza, the event welcomed attendees to a cinematic adventure with an exclusive screening of “Jurassic World: Rebirth.” The invitation-only evening began with arrivals at 5:30 PM, setting the tone for a dynamic cultural engagement that celebrated Thailand’s connection with adventure tourism and entertainment.
The theatre lobby came alive with themed decor, interactive dinosaur elements, and visuals that evoked the lush tropical jungles of Jurassic Park and Thailand alike. The creative fusion of prehistoric wonder and Thai hospitality left a lasting impression on guests of all ages.
Organized under the theme “Amazing Thailand Jurassic Escape,” the event aimed to position Thailand as an adventurous and family-friendly travel destination, while also offering a unique entertainment platform. The evening showcased the country’s diversity — from tranquil beaches and sacred temples to landscapes that inspire cinematic storytelling and fantasy.

The screening drew a vibrant and eclectic audience, including diplomats, travel industry professionals, media representatives, influencers, and families. The initiative was widely praised for its creative blend of cultural diplomacy and popular entertainment.
Dignitaries in attendance included His Excellency Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul General of Thailand in Mumbai; H.E. Graham Rouse, Trade Commissioner for South Asia and Consul General of New Zealand; Her Excellency Wang Awei, Consul General of China; H.E. Dushont K Bucktowar, Consul General of Mauritius; H.E. Sven Ostberg, Consul General of Sweden; H.E. Mustafa Kemalettin Eruygur, Consul General of Turkey; H.E. Martin Maier, Consul General of Switzerland; H.E. Ahmed Zuwairi Yusoff, Consul General of Malaysia; and H.E. Yagi Koji, Consul General of Japan, among others.
