Hyatt Regency Pune has officially promoted Rajeev Rawat to the position of Director of Operations. Rawat initially joined the property in February 2024 as Director of Rooms, where he brought with him over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality. During his tenure, he delivered strong results across key operational metrics including guest satisfaction, profitability, and sustainability.
In his new role, Rawat now oversees the day-to-day management of all major hotel departments and is responsible for driving innovation across service touchpoints. His efforts are aligned with the hotel’s broader vision of delivering world-class guest experiences through operational excellence and thoughtful leadership.

Beginning his journey at JW Marriott Pune, Rajeev Rawat has steadily climbed the ladder of success, building an impressive career across some of the most prestigious names in the hospitality industry. Over the years, he has been associated with leading global brands both in India and abroad. His extensive experience within the Marriott group includes stints at Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield by Marriott, JW Marriott Mussoorie, JW Marriott Jaipur, and Courtyard by Marriott Sindhu Bhavan Ahmedabad, enhancing his expertise across diverse hospitality environments.
Rajeev’s international exposure includes a significant tenure with MGM Resorts International in Greater London, adding a global perspective to his operational strengths. Back in India, he has also been part of the leadership team at DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Sarjapur Road, further diversifying his experience in the luxury hotel segment.
