Iconic dining destination Gallops has reintroduced its popular cabana experience this summer with a refreshed design, offering guests a relaxed alfresco setting amid the lush greens of the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

Reimagined as a contemporary garden escape, the cabanas feature soft floral elements, natural textures and warm lighting. Cascading blooms, fresh greens and handcrafted accents lend the space an intimate yet breezy charm. While the daytime setting remains bright and easygoing, the evenings transition into a softer, ambient atmosphere with gentle lighting and a calm vibe.

The highlight this season is the Celebratory Cabana, designed to host groups of 20–25 guests. Adorned with vibrant bougainvillea and layered floral installations, it offers a spacious, social setting ideal for gatherings and special occasions. Alongside it, smaller cabanas cater to more intimate experiences, with cosy seating, subtle décor and a quieter, more private ambience suited for date nights or relaxed dinners.

Designed as an air-conditioned alfresco space, the cabanas strike a balance between outdoor charm and indoor comfort, allowing guests to linger through Mumbai’s summer afternoons and evenings.

The menu continues to showcase Gallops’ signature offerings alongside seasonal additions. Popular dishes include Melba Toast, Palak Anjeer Kebab, Achari Chicken Tikka, Goan Grilled Prawns and Corn Ribs. Classic favourites such as Dal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Akhroti Lasuni Palak and Nalli Nihari remain key highlights.

Complementing the food is a curated beverage programme featuring summer-forward cocktails like the Alphonso Picante and Lychee Mezcaltini, along with classics such as Mai Tai, Espresso Martini and French 75. A strong wines-by-the-glass selection adds to the overall experience.

With its simple yet elegant design and thoughtfully curated menu, the cabanas at Gallops offer a refreshing retreat within the city, ideal for both casual outings and small celebrations this season. Reservations are now open.
