MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts has appointed hospitality veteran Saugat Nandy as Assistant Vice President – Sales, further strengthening its commercial leadership as the luxury hotel group continues to expand its presence across India.
Bringing more than 29 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nandy will play a key role in driving the group’s sales strategy, business development and revenue growth across MAYFAIR’s portfolio of 19 luxury resorts spread across eight states.
Prior to joining MAYFAIR, Nandy held senior leadership positions with leading hospitality brands, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, ITC Hotels Ltd., Blackrock Hotels & Resorts and The Wanderers. During his career, he has successfully led multi-property sales operations, developed business strategies and worked across corporate, leisure, MICE and wedding segments, while building long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
In his new role, Nandy will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen sales initiatives, identify new business opportunities and expand the brand’s presence in key domestic and international markets. His responsibilities will also include improving market penetration, optimising revenue performance and supporting the group’s long-term commercial objectives.
MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts has steadily expanded its footprint in India’s luxury hospitality sector, with a strong presence across destinations in Odisha, West Bengal, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim and other states. The group is recognised for its luxury resorts, destination wedding venues and MICE facilities catering to both leisure and business travellers.
Industry observers believe Nandy’s extensive experience in luxury hospitality and strategic sales will support MAYFAIR’s continued expansion while further strengthening its commercial capabilities and market position. His appointment reflects the group’s ongoing focus on sustainable growth, customer engagement and enhancing its presence in India’s competitive luxury hospitality sector.
