Beluga – The Bar at The LaLiT Mumbai is celebrating the monsoon season with a limited-edition Monsoon Cocktail Festival, offering guests a selection of handcrafted cocktails inspired by the flavours, aromas and memories of the Indian rains. The festival, which began on July 25, will continue until August 10, 2026.
The seasonal menu has been curated using premium spirits, indigenous ingredients and regional spices to reflect the essence of the Indian monsoon. Each cocktail draws inspiration from familiar seasonal experiences while presenting them through contemporary mixology.
Among the featured creations is the Petrichor Paloma, a tequila-based cocktail inspired by the earthy aroma of rain on dry soil. It combines grapefruit with cumin, coriander and a subtle smoky finish. The Masala Monsoon Sour blends whiskey with aromatic Indian spices and citrus notes, evoking the comforting flavours of roadside masala chai during the rainy season.
Another highlight is the Kokum Pepper Collins, which takes inspiration from the Western Ghats by combining gin with tangy kokum, fresh basil and cracked pepper. The cocktail offers a refreshing flavour profile influenced by India’s coastal regions.
According to the hotel, the seasonal menu has been designed to reinterpret familiar monsoon flavours in a refined setting while showcasing contemporary cocktail craftsmanship.
The Monsoon Cocktail Festival is being hosted exclusively at Beluga – The Bar, The LaLiT Mumbai, and will remain available until August 10, 2026. The limited-period menu offers guests an opportunity to experience cocktails inspired by one of India’s most celebrated seasons in the city’s hospitality landscape.
