The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari released the book ‘Understanding Early Childhood Education’ at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on June 1st, 2021.
Authors of the book Dr Shashikala Wanjari, Vice Chancellor SNDT Women’s University and Dr Reeta Sonawat were present.
Dr Wanjari told the Governor that the book deals with the subject of early childhood care and education. Mentioning that the New National Education Policy has created a demand for trained early childhood educators, she said the book will help teachers, coordinators, administrators, parents and other stakeholders in the field of early childhood care and education.
The book published by Authors Press has a foreword by former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission Dr Anil Kakodkar.
