In a remarkable feat, Arham Bhansali, an eleventh-grade student from Dhirubhai Ambani School, has clinched a coveted spot in the Science and Technology Training Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA. MIT, renowned globally for its contributions to the realm of technology, has handpicked 30 students from diverse corners of the globe for this esteemed program, leaving educators and aspirants alike in sheer admiration.

The MIT Science and Technology Training Program stands as a pinnacle of academic excellence, drawing applicants from around the world. The rigorous selection process entails comprehensive applications, including essay submissions and personal information disclosure, to identify the most promising candidates. Ultimately, Arham Bhansali’s exceptional abilities and passion for the subject matter secured him a spot among the chosen few.

Scheduled to take place from June 22nd to August 3rd at the MIT campus, this intensive training program promises an immersive experience into the realms of science and technology. Arham’s primary interests lie in computer science and earth sciences, aligning perfectly with the program’s objectives and curriculum.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Arham Bhansali has already made significant strides in the realm of social entrepreneurship. As the founder and head of the Yuva Maitri Foundation, he has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives aimed at addressing pertinent issues faced by today’s youth. It is worth mentioning that Arham’s father Dr. Gautam Bhansali is a consultant physician and intensivist at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai. Due to his distinguished and excellent functioning, the Maharashtra government has put him in charge of all the private Covid-19 hospitals in Mumbai during the peak of the Corona epidemic.

Dr. Bhansali is renowned for his philanthropic work and services and is an experienced consultant physician with extensive research experience in infectious and tropical diseases. In the year 2016, he had done diabetic eye screening in 8 hours for which his name is jointly registered in the Guinness World Records. Through his NGO ‘Golden Hour Foundation’ he has been spreading awareness among the general public, policemen, fire brigade, Indian Customs Airport Authority, has been involved in spreading awareness about First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in many government departments including various schools and colleges.
