Sharad Singh, a seasoned hotelier and esteemed hospitality expert, has joined Moxy Mumbai in Andheri West as Hotel Captain. At Moxy, the General Manager role is reimagined as Captain. With over 17 years of distinguished experience, Sharad brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this dynamic position.
In his most recent role as Director of Operations at The Westin Goa, Sharad Singh played a pivotal role in guiding the hotel to win the ‘Best Food and Beverage Hotel’ award in Marriott Asia Pacific Excluding China 2022. Before his tenure at The Westin Goa, Sharad held the position of Director of Food and Beverage at Sheraton Grand Pune and The St. Regis Mumbai.
Sharad’s extensive career also includes significant roles at JW Marriott Pune, Marriott Hotels and Resorts Jaipur, and Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre. His expertise encompasses operations, strategic planning, marketing and promotions, customer relationship management, and service excellence.
He has established a distinguished reputation in the hospitality industry, demonstrating outstanding leadership and operational expertise across numerous prestigious properties. Since the beginning of his career, Sharad has been with Marriott, holding several key roles and making substantial contributions to the success and acclaim of these establishments.
Sharad’s leadership style is defined by his enterprising spirit, sharp analytical skills, and a sincere dedication to guest satisfaction. His talent for engaging with people from diverse cultures aligns seamlessly with Moxy’s inclusive and dynamic ethos.
