The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, is offering scholarships to Sri Lankan nationals for studying Hindi at the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (Central Institute of Hindi), Agra, for the academic session 2025-2026. This fully funded scholarship will cover return airfare, a stipend, hostel accommodation, and an annual book grant.
Students aged 21-45 years (as of 01.04.2025) who have studied Hindi at the beginner/intermediate level are eligible to apply. Eligible students from Sri Lanka are invited to attend an interview with the completed application forms at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (Indian Cultural Centre), 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07, on 27th February 2025, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
