Vinay Singh, A hardcore Mumbai boy and a seasoned hotelier joined as Hotel manager at Le Meridien Jaipur Resort and Spa recently. He brings with him almost 18 years of experience working in top hotels. Most recently Vinay worked at Renaissance Mumbai and Lakeside Chalet, Marriott Executive Apartments as Complex Director of Sales and Marketing for the almost last two and half years. Vinay will be overseeing the daily operations, and will play an active role in implementing key strategies and new initiatives. As a leader, Vinay possesses the vision and competence to see the big picture and make decisions accordingly.
Educational assets: Vinay has done his basic schooling from Mumbai’s Holy Family school and higher secondary education from prestigious Sathe College at Vile Parle, Mumbai. He finished his degree in Bachelors of Science (BSc.) at Mumbai University. Soon after graduation, he completed his Masters of Management Studies in Systems & Marketing at University of Mumbai.
Beginning of hospitality career: After completing his education he chose to mount ladder of success in hospitality industry in sales and marketing field. To begin with, he began his career with Kamat Hotels India Limited, an Ecotel in Mumbai and never looked back. Slowly and gradually he kept on gaining experience to be on successful path.
Wealth of experience: Vinay began his hospitality career with The Orchid hotel in Mumbai from in the year 2003. By enhancing his marketing skills, He tweaked his strategy to emphasize on achieving next goals. His experience in leading hotels includes Head – Sales and Marketing with KHPL Group, Assistant Director of Sales with Le Royal Meridien at Mumbai, Company Director with Sai Palace Hotels in Mumbai, Assistant Director of Sales with Hilton Worldwide, Director of Sales & Marketing with The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Director of Sales and Marketing with The St. Regis Mumbai and Director of Sales & Marketing for Renaissance Mumbai & Lakeside Chalet – Mumbai, before moving to Le Meridien Jaipur Resort and Spa at Jaipur.
