Governor pays tributes to Dr Ambedkar at Lok Bhavan

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Tuesday paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary at Lok Bhavan.
The Governor offered homage at the bust of Dr Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, marking the occasion with solemnity. He also reflected on Ambedkar’s enduring contributions to social justice, equality and democratic values, urging citizens to uphold his ideals in public life.

Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, along with officers and staff of Lok Bhavan and personnel from the state police, were present on the occasion. Floral tributes were paid and brief remarks were delivered highlighting Ambedkar’s legacy.
