The St. Regis Mumbai has introduced AURA, a new weekly Thursday night experience at Koi Bar, adding a fresh dimension to the city’s premium nightlife offerings. Developed in collaboration with ORION, the event will be held every Thursday from 11 pm onwards, beginning 6 August, at Koi Bar, located in The Penthouse of the hotel.
Designed for guests seeking a blend of music, signature beverages and an upscale social atmosphere, AURA will feature Afro House music alongside a curated selection of cocktails. The concept aims to create a distinctive late-night experience by bringing together music enthusiasts and nightlife patrons in an intimate setting.
According to the hotel, the initiative reflects changing preferences among urban consumers, who are increasingly looking for curated entertainment experiences beyond conventional dining and lounge offerings. Koi Bar, known for its panoramic city views and contemporary ambience, has been chosen as the venue for the weekly event.
The programme will feature resident DJs playing Afro House tracks, complemented by handcrafted cocktails and a carefully designed atmosphere intended to encourage social interaction and a relaxed nightlife experience.
With the launch of AURA, The St. Regis Mumbai continues to expand its experiential hospitality portfolio by introducing themed events that cater to evolving lifestyle trends. The hotel has been hosting a range of culinary and entertainment concepts designed to offer guests diverse experiences throughout the year.
Bruno Fuentes, Director of Restaurants, said the weekly event is expected to become a regular feature on Mumbai’s nightlife calendar, offering guests a Thursday evening experience that brings together music, mixology and hospitality.
He added, “We are seeing more guests choosing to step out during the week, not just on weekends. AURA was created in response to this changing social trend, giving people another opportunity to connect, enjoy curated music and experience a lively atmosphere on Thursday nights.”
AURA will take place every Thursday from 11 pm onwards at Koi Bar, The Penthouse, The St. Regis Mumbai, starting 6 August, 2026.
