IHCL; Taj Group’s flagship Ginger Hotel opens at Mumbai’s T1 Domestic Airport

Indian Hotel Company Limited (IHCL). the country’s more than century old hotel group has announced the opening of its Flagship Ginger Hotel Mumbai Airport. This flagship Ginger Hotel is equipped with 371 rooms and strategically located on the Western Express Highway, near Santa Cruz Domestic airport (T1). The hotel will feature the brand’s lean luxury design and service to provide its guests with a vibrant, contemporary and seamless hospitality experience. Setting an example of women empowerment, Sheetal Singh has been made the General Manager of this hotel. She is a seasoned hotelier who has brought with her many years of extraordinary experience.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Punit Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO, IHCL, said “The opening of Ginger Mumbai Airport will mark an important milestone in the transformation journey of the brand with more than two-thirds of its operational hotels now being upgraded.

 

Elaborating, he said that “India’s economic growth and rapidly expanding infrastructure presents an important opportunity for the middle class. Having pioneered the segment in India, IHCL Group is set to launch similar large-format hotels at Bengaluru and Goa airports, further revolutionizing the mid-scale hotel category”.

 

This Ginger hotel has 371 rooms that are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and thoughtfully designed to give significant comfort. The rooms cater to both business and leisure travellers.

 

The Taj Group is famous all over the world for its delicious cuisine and here guests can enjoy delicious dishes at the Cumin Restaurant which is open throughout the day. Apart from this, guests can also enjoy the great atmosphere in the sports bar. To keep you fit and healthy, a state-of-the-art fitness center has also been operational, where guests can exercise to keep them fit.
