Mumbai recently witnessed a spectacular celebration of Vietnamese cuisine as Radisson Mumbai Goregaon hosted a vibrant Vietnamese Food Festival, offering a unique opportunity to experience the rich flavours and cultural heritage of Vietnam. Held at the hotel’s award-winning Asian restaurant, Goma, the festival was a culinary journey that delighted guests with authentic Vietnamese dishes.
The event, inaugurated on November 9, 2024, by His Excellency Le Quang Bien, the Consul General of Vietnam in Mumbai, was met with great enthusiasm. It showcased a wide array of traditional Vietnamese delicacies, bringing together diplomats, members of the Vietnamese consulate, and food enthusiasts for a memorable evening.
Guests were treated to an interactive experience, with renowned chef Sadik Khan demonstrating his culinary expertise and preparing signature Vietnamese dishes. The festival not only highlighted the unique flavours of Vietnam but also served as a platform to deepen the cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Vietnam, both of which share a long history of friendship and collaboration in economic, educational, and cultural exchanges.
H.E. Le Quang Bien expressed his excitement for promoting Vietnamese culture through its cuisine. He thanked the attendees for their presence and extended his gratitude to Ajoy Balkrishna, Vice President, Balwa Group of Hospitality and Chef Sadik Khan for their support in making the event a success.
